Maissra’s Villa:
An Architectural Masterpiece that Celebrates Nature and Modernity
Blend in Nature
At our architecture firm, we take pride in designing spaces that seamlessly blend with their surroundings while maximizing the use of available land. A prime example of our approach is the breathtaking Maissra Villa, located in the picturesque Maissra region of Lebanon.
Spanning over 1000 square meters, this residential project features four spacious duplexes, each with three bedrooms and independent terraces. The challenge was to create a unified design that would not look like separate chalets, yet provide enough privacy and exclusivity for each client.
Our team carefully integrated the villa into the natural slope of the land, creating two volumes made of concrete decks and glass that beautifully contrast with the lush greenery. By situating the volumes on different slope levels and leaving natural land in between, we were able to achieve a stunning effect of the building dissolving into its surroundings, inviting nature inside.
Upon entering the villa, you will be greeted by a double-height hall with a wooden library that extends up to the rooms. Two wooden boxes for bedrooms create a cozy and warm feel in the living area, while a delicate wooden panel system adds privacy and shade to the bedroom facade, giving the residents full control over their environment.
The reception area is designed to offer a fully open option, thanks to the glass railing and concrete slab that provides a shaded area to relax and enjoy the beauty of the natural surroundings. By focusing on the core section, we were able to create a design that celebrates the harmony between nature and architecture.
At our firm, we strive to create designs that are not only functional and aesthetically pleasing but also environmentally friendly. The Maissra Villa is a testament to our commitment to sustainability, as it seamlessly integrates into its surroundings and allows its residents to enjoy the natural beauty of the region.
From concept design to execution, our team carefully oversaw every aspect of the project, ensuring that each client’s unique needs were met. Completed in 2022, the Maissra Villa stands as a testament to our passion for designing spaces that celebrate nature and modernity.
